We are exceptionally excited to offer e² Young Engineers® programs for the first time ever to Namibia, Windhoek area! e² Young Engineers® programs include after-school enrichment classes, pre-school classes, summer camps, birthday parties and special events where children are given an opportunity to LEARN while having FUN building with the world’s favourite building block – LEGO®! Our programs utilize an EDUTAINMENT (education + entertainment) approach, transforming the learning process into a game while introducing children to theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM).
e² Young Engineers Namibia, will be operating in the Khomas Region, Windhoek area coming 2018. We will be considering to spread over to the northern regions and southern regions in the next few months or years, we look forward to host thousands of students (Young Engineers) participating in our programs. We project to work with over 30 centres throughout the area of Windhoek to provide our children an opportunity to experience these wonderful programs first-hand. We invite you to explore our website and learn more about what makes e² Young Engineers® programs the best enrichment program you could provide your young loved ones!
About the Owner
My name is Willem Hanghuwo and I am the Director/operator of the e² Young Engineer Namibia. I began conducting e² Young Engineers programs in the fall of 2017, and have since grown to appreciate these programs more and more every day! When I first discovered the e² Young Engineers programs, my companion and I instantly fell in love with the concept and ultimately found a way to bring e² Young Engineers to Namibia!
As an Engineer, I strongly feel that our children deserve every opportunity possible to further their understanding of how things work, and what better method of doing so than by utilizing the universally loved LEGO® brick and combining it with a well thought out curriculum.
What ultimately won me over is witnessing first-hand how these programs make the learning process fun, allowing children to have so much fun building and playing and then they leave the class with a further understanding of various concepts in the STEM fields…something that is so crucial in our children’s education and behavior today.
I graduated from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology with a Bachelor in Engineering, and working for Namibia Airports Company Ltd as a Power Systems Engineer for numerous years in the Aviation Industry.
I am also a Technical member of Lithon Projects Consultant a reputable multi-disciplinary organisation in Namibia and beyond borders. I am proud father of one of which he will be attending e² Young Engineers programs locally.
